Chiropractic is the largest drug-free medical profession in Canada. Chiropractors maintain and restore the mechanics of the spinal system. The correction of misalignments in the spine, which interfere with nervous system function, has been shown to commonly relieve many symptoms such as headaches, or back/neck pain.
What makes you different?
We take a holistic view of the body. Very often health care practictioners will solely address the site of pain or dysfunction. We recognize that the body works together as a cohesive unit and influences from remote parts of the body can have a negative impact. For example, an ankle instability will change how you stand and how you walk, which may lead to hip pain. Neglecting to check the whole body may lead to delayed improvement or recurring issues.
We not only address the structural components of your problem but also recognize there may be a chemical (diet, environmental) and mental/emotional (stress) influence. By taking into account all of these factors we are able to effectively resolve your health concerns in the least amount of time.
How long will it take to correct the problem?
This is difficult to answer in that no two people are alike. Two people with the exact same dysfunction will respond differently. Many factors come into play here including, age, fitness, diet, sleep habits, arthritis, job etc. This will be discussed on a case to case basis.
What can you help with?
